“MR. GREY WILL SEE YOU NOW”, reads on the poster of the expected release. Those who have read the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, will understand that this phrase causes nerves and excitement. And this story of bondage and sadomasochism, begins at the common place where responds to anyone who has a business appointment with someone.

Knowing this, without seeing the trailer - even without having reading the books - , you can imagine the main character Anastasia Steel , played by Dakota Johnson , awkward and timid entering the vast office where you will find Christian Grey the man who will change his life forever through sexual practices "less conventional" if we can call them that , and who has conquered women from around the globe with what appeared to be over –at least that was said in the twentieth century : total and absolute sexual domination.

THE MOST ENVIED WOMAN OF ORB
: The blonde Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melanie Griffith and actor Don Johnson - James Crockett in Miami Vice- was chosen to star in the film version of the trilogy translated into 50 languages without a long career; just a few appearances in films like The Social Network and the new 21 Jump Street, perhaps because after Crazy in Alabama -directed by her stepfather Antonio Banderas and where shared credits with his mother and half-sister Stella Banderas, her parents did promise would not act until he had finished high school. She fulfilled, and just return the foot in Hollywood, She regained her fortune. The role of Anastasia Steele is the potential new Bella Swan.

Maybe even a little more, considering that Fifty Shades of Grey has been read more than The Twilight saga -an irony, because the author EL James began to develop the book as a fan -fiction texts of Stephenie Meyer-. As it was, it is known that Dakota came to casting of Universal Pictures with a powerful weapon of seduction under the arm sexually explicit monologue from the movie Person of director Ingmar Bergman in which the character of Alma suffers from a personality disorder. "...When I came I felt was something I had never felt before in my life, as his sperm inside my shot . He take me to my shoulders and leaned Backward and I came again and again..." Says the text on which Johnson told Cosmopolitan magazine: "There were some parts I was ashamed to read aloud, but it's one of those things that have to commit wholeheartedly.”

She keeps the role and, with it, the "fortune" of being the most envied by women readers of the trilogy, as it will be who embodies the fantasies that causes Christian Grey, played by actor and Northern Irish model Jamie Dornan. This, besides fame, stratospheric profits and perhaps the possibility of being considered a new sex symbol (as was once his mother), although other: Dakota is a sex symbol who rejects the freedom because she finds pleasure in submission.

SEX WITH MR GREY
, forward or backward? The success of the trilogy written by EL James is good for one thing: For the first time million of women worldwide are felt quiet to go to a bookstore or go to a website like Amazon (where it outsold Twilight, Los hunger Games and Harry Potter) to buy erotic literature. Because there was no shame, books became best-seller immediately and promoted discussions about sex socially accepted. But it is disturbing other hand: suddenly it seems that all the work that made women like Madonna with her book Sex, where we showed a free and sexually demanding woman went overboard. The protagonist of Fifty Shades of Grey is anything like that. In fact, it is a young student 22 years virgin who, one day, she meets a handsome millionaire young man whose sexual perversion is the dominant-submissive game that is portrayed in a much better way (and with greater intensity) in the novel Story of O, written by french Anne Desclos under the pseudonym Pauline Réage in 1954.

As ever would have happened in that novel , which is actually a long love letter written for the editor Jean Paulhan - and much less in the texts written by the Marquis de Sade ( obligatory reference when talking of this literary genre ) the characters of Fifty Shades ... sign a contract that record what they are willing to do or not do and stipulate insurmountable limits : no fire acts , not acts with needles or knives , no acts on the control of breathing not acts that leave permanent marks on the skin ... Anyway, we are facing a masterpiece of sadomasochism vanilla. "Perversions without risk," you might say . Which is a kind of betrayal of sexual practices that inspired the author and where theory says that pleasure is focused precisely on risk, the constant fear that everything is out of control.

This makes it clear that in many reviews, the story of Anastasia and Grey is described as "porn for moms". And the success is, perhaps, promises that you can have a spicy sex life without having to enter the real game of joint pain and pleasure. Under the contract, in exchange for sexual submission, Christian Grey offers his "beloved" mantains her, nourish her healthy, buy her clothes, hire her a fitness trainer to keep her in shape. Things that make you think that what they are signing is nothing but an act of ordinary marriage, which is disappointing on gender issues: Is being submissive the real sexual fantasy for women? Is Anastasia Steel an example to follow? That will be decided by each person, but overall it seems that there has been a decline in female sexual empowerment. Putting back the virgin on the altar seems right that man is the one who decides what to do and what not in bed and, apparently, the archetype of the unbalanced man is again on the rise . If you look carefully, Fifty Shades of Grey is a kind of Wuthering Heights with deleted scenes. And if our idea of romance is still the same that appears in a troubled romance novel written in 1847, then the eroticism -at least for women has not evolved much to say. Although box-office will play to tell us otherwise.
5 BEDTIME STORIES
Essential to fantasize bedtime books:
1. Delta of Venus, Anaïs Nin, 1977. Published posthumously, is a series of stories that tell how many sexual encounters spanning philia can ocurrirse. It was written during the 40s, so it is a valuable document on the dominant sexual fantasies in Paris after the war.

2. Story of O, Pauline Réage, 1954. A young fashion photographer wants to show her lover everything is able to do for him, so blindly obeys when he takes her to a mysterious house where pleasure and pain are an indivisible unit. Dominance and submission, this time with risks.

3. Lolita, Vladimir Nabokov, 1955. Nothing more wrong than a middle-aged man in love with a girl of twelve. O yes, that man and the girl remain passionate sex. Before making a moral judgment, just the beachfront of this novel to want to read it to the end: ".. Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins Sin mine, my soul Lo-li-ta ..."

4. Tropic of Cancer, Henry Miller; 1934. Another book that brings to Paris, this time in the 30s fiction writer makes his own life to discuss their sexual encounters. It does so effectively that the novel was described as "obscene" for decades. It has a sequel: Tropic of Capricorn.

5. The Reader, Bernhard Schlink, 1995. Although not classified as erotic literature, this novel has very powerful sexual passages in which a mature and illiterate woman, seduces a young man of 15 years and "abused him." This is not a love story but war, sex, required reading. There is also a film version.
