@shaynelaverdiere: Good morning! Here's an #outtake of beautiful (and funny) Dakota Johnson for L'Uomo Vogue#septemberissue.

Quotes from the Scans

Dakota: "Pantelleria has such an explosive energy, it shakes you off completely."

"I was travelling on the tour-bus of my singers' friends, the members of black keys, when I've been suggested the role of Penelope. I went to his [Luca's] place in Crema and few minutes later, I said yes. Two weeks later, I was already on set."

Director Luca Guadagnino: "Dakota Johnson is truly a blessing from the gods of this industry. There has to be some sort of film-maker guardian angel out there: we found her last minute and she has this incredible ability of getting the character and making it hers."

New Intagram Picture of young Dakota posted by Jesse Johnson

@jaydoubleyoujay: "#tbt high school musical days. Clearly I'm very convincing as an old Jewish man."

Tippi Hedren mentions Dakota with Vienna.at

Their traumatic experiences with Hitchcock and the predators have obviously not deterred to get into the movie business; your daughter Melanie Griffith and your granddaughter Dakota Johnson
Tippi: Not at all. The movie business is not as scary as working with lions and tigers! (laughs)

Was it easy for you to see your granddaughter in the disputed S&M adaptation "Fifty Shades of Grey", or not because of the grandmother in you?
Tippi: Neither I, nor her mother Melanie, nor her father Don Johnson have seen the film. And we will not! I just can not. That's nothing to us. I love the girl - she's one of the funniest people I know. She has it easy there! And that Dakota was able to make the movie, and is respected for sure is excellent. But I'll never know!

New interview of Dakota with Vanity Fair Italy [November 4th Issue]

Scans

Interview translated by DakotaJFans.

THAT FEAR, THAT MAGIC

After Fifty Shades of Grey, we find the cinema once again scantily clad. And, although considering her body only one "artistic tool" DAKOTA JOHNSON had some difficulties. Blame the hot rocks and a special atmosphere.

They make us sit on two high stools, already set for a television interview that will be made later. The location is inconvenient and there are cables around and then there are other cables, the typical disorder behind the scenes, when the cameras are off again. Behind the curtain there's buzz, click of shoes, a microcosm that moves to hysterical steps. Yet Dakota Johnson, just 26 years old, a musician boyfriend (Matthew Hitt of Downers), couture dress and makeup, is quiet as if she were at home in your pyjamas. I tell her, and she replies: "I grew up on the set, I know situations like this. I just see the catering van to feel at home"

The entertainment world is full of sons of art but not many have the talent of Dakota. Look at Black Mass with Johnny Depp: steals the show even with an actor like him. The first time I became aware of Dakota, I did not know who it was in The Social Network, the girl who goes to bed with Justin Timberlake and introduces him to a thing called Facebook. Even there only a few lines, but it remained imprinted. I only found out later that she was the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, and granddaughter of Tippi Hedren and step-daughter of Antonio Banderas.

Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director who directed her in Fifty Shades of Grey (the first sequel will be released in 2017), said that at the audition Dakota was presented with a monologue from a film by Ingmar Bergman. It seems that it was just Sam Taylor-Johnson to report it to A Bigger Splash by Luca Guadagnino where it is again - talent. As you know, the film was presented at the Venice Film Festival, inexplicably treated badly by Italian critics, but appreciated by the foreign. When released in theatres on November 26, the public can do it justice.

I go to the point: she accepted a "scandalous" movie, Fifty Shades of Grey as well as in A Bigger Splash, and is often half-naked. How much security we want to shoot certain scenes?

"It is not a safety or self-esteem issue. I try to use my body as an artistic tool, serving the character that I am asked to do. But you wants to know how I felt that day in Pantelleria (where A Bigger Splash was filmed) while working the scene where I'm naked on the rocks?"

New Interview of Dakota for "Black Mass"

At 26, Dakota Johnson has happened in only a few months of being the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, as an actress known around the world for "Fifty Shades of Grey" and now "Black Mass" ("Pact criminal" in our country) with Johnny Depp. She said she feels "extremely lucky and grateful."

"I've worked hard and I am happy and proud of what I've achieved," the actress says in an interview with Efe at the Venice Film Festival, where "Black Mass" was released.

With a dress tweed -beige almost indistinguishable from her white skin, the actress is shy and smiling, with a striking resemblance to her mother, Melanie Griffith.

"For a long time, it was difficult for me to take me seriously as an actress, but at the same time my parents allowed me to meet a lot of people," she admits.

In "Black Mass" is the wife of the historic criminal James 'Whitey' Bulger (Johnny Depp), the humanity behind the shadow of a complex character who dominated South Boston for nearly 20 years, from the mid-seventies to 1994, thanks his cooperation with the FBI.

"It was amazing to work with Johnny Depp, he is an extraordinary actor and an exceptional person, is a lovely person and it was wonderful working with him; He was very generous," says the actress.

A role that she accepted as a challenge to have to play a real character. Gangster movies "usually are from another era, but this was a fairly recent history," notes the actress.

Bulger was captured in 2011 after more than fifteen years on the run from justice. "It is fresh in the minds of people and is still alive. There's something really seductive and trapping in the history," says the actress.

And on the reasons that led her to choose the characters she plays, it says that it is difficult "to find a common pattern" in the roles she has done so far.

"I mainly do the things that really excite me, that are different from the last thing I did. For example, this film, gangster and with interesting characters, which make you want  to know more about the people lifes and why they've done terrible things," she says with a sweet smile.

Filming of "Fifty Shades Darker" officially starting in February 2016

Synopsis of Fifty Shades Darker

Daunted by singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young enterpreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house. But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangment, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.

Pati Dubroff talks about Dakota's style at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Event with AOL.

From AOL: Oh, that Dakota Johnson. The actress simply slayed at Monday's Elle Women in Hollywood event, wearing second-skin Calvin Klein. Her dates: mom Melanie Griffith, grandma Tippi Hedren and half-sister Stella Banderas.

We connected with Johnson's longtime makeup guru Pati Prema Dubroff to get the scoop on her red-carpet razzle-dazzle.

"First of all, there is this sweetness about her and it's in equal balance with this fierceness. She's a combination of sweet and powerful. She's grown up in this industry. Look at her lineage. She's extremely professional and extremely aware of how lucky she is. She doesn't take any of that for granted. She couldn't be more kind and beautiful. Last night, seeing her with her grandmother and mother and sister, that bond is enviable," says Dubroff. "Last night her family was around so that was extra fun."

Hair-wise, Mark Townsend gave her a textured updo. We love it.

As for her visage: "Anastasia Contour Cream Kit in Fair is what I use on her face and eyes. It's my favorite thing right now. I use it on her cheekbones and jaw. The cheeks were a tiny little splash of Nars Amour blush," says Dubroff.

The eyes: "I used Nars black moon eyeliner pencil at the base of the lash line. Mascara was Benefit's They're Real. I love it. Lots and lots of lash. What I used to define her brows is Maybelline Define-a-Brow pencil in medium brown," says Dubroff.

And she finishes off the look with a little drama. "We like to bump up her lip color. Last night, I used Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in No 109 Rouge Noir. In the tube, it looks like blackberry but I stained it on her lip," says Dubroff.

Look for her on more red carpets as awards season gears up. Johnson plays Johnny Depp's wife in "Black Mass," and has the comedy "How to Be Single" out in February.

BTS Video of Dakota for ELLE Women in Hollywood 2015 Photoshoot

Dakota's acceptance scpeech at ELLE Women In Hollywood on October 19th, 2015.

"I have not only admired but been a massive fan of Leslie's work since her films like #The cable Guy" and "Big Daddy" which played a fundamental one in my quest to make movies. I recently had the privilege of working alongside her on a project called "How to be Single". To watch an actress of her caliber flip between comedic brilliance and emotional intensity was enthralling and educational and to be accepted as her peer was transformative. And to have her like me enough to be here tonight to give me this award was basically the equivalent of saying like ten thousand positive affirmations into the mirror.

When I began thinking about what on God's green earth I would say up here tonight I felt this irritating pressure to impress you all with my message. My message. I kept looking for some richer, more textured way to say what I stand for and to find myself but the problems is that I'm not quite yet clear on what that is. And then all I could think was "Oh my Gos, You're a fraud and they're all gonna find out and you're a loser cuz you don't have a message and everybody is gonna know," And really all I had to do was write a short thank you for this great honor a simple like "bam, bam, bam, we're out," and I couldn't do it so now I just found myself being flanged to and existential crisis. Then I was wondering, "Do these other women here tonight, that I admire so deeply, feel this way, too? Do they question themselves? Do they feel so afraid sometimes?" And I'm gonna fo ahead and click yes on that because honey, you must, right? And if you say that you don't, you're a liar.

If I ever let it get it to me, I would literally never accomplish anything and I would be completely fucked so now I recognize this character trait as one of, if not the main thing, that drives me to challenge myself. Not only in my work but on a daily basis. To brightened my horizons and richened my experiences and foster the growth of my knowledge. The other fuel I use as the inspiration I feel for the work created by the women in this room, I'm truly astounded by your talents, time and time again. I see the work you pur for and I feel ingited with excitement and proud to be among such a magical group of artists. There are few women here tonight that I would like to...fuck.

There are a few women here tonight that I would like to specifically pay tribute to, two of them happen to be my extremely impressive dates: my mother, Melanie Griffith and my grandmother Tippi Hedren. As artists and as women, you have inspired me every day of my life. You have taught me by example that to be a woman of honor is to be kind and grateful, strong and elegant, ambitious and arrogant, curious and courageous. If I become a glimmer of the women you are, I will be the luckiest girl in the world...fuck. I don't even swear this much, it's just coming out. I wanna thank you both for encouraging me and supporting me in all my endeavors, excluding the time you let me corner all my hair on vacation when my scalp got sunburned, and also when I thought it would be cool to pierce my belly button and I wore dangly jewelry in it and also excluding when I changed on my name on my cellular telephone vocemail to bliss. Basically I want unthank you for all the times I'm embarrassed myself and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything else."

EL James shared a funny moment from "FSOG" Set

"I saw these books at Frankfurt airport last month while I was travelling through. The cover is from one of the iconic moments in the book and seeing these reminded me of when we shot this scene for the movie. During the first take Jamie pounced on Dakota - taking all of us, Dakota included, by surprise. It was a funny moment. I'm so glad this scene made it into the film."
