Jason Mantzoukas and Nicholas Braun join to "How to Be Single"



New Line continues to build up its ensemble comedy How to Be Single with interesting comedy stars, adding two more actors to the roster.

Jason Mantzoukas and Nicholas Braun are joining the film, which will also star Alison Brie, Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Damon Wayans Jr. As THR exclusively reported,Workaholics star and co-creator Anders Holm is also in talks to join the cast.

Based on the novel by Liz Tuccillo, Single explores the lives of a group of single New Yorkers with different views and approaches to dating. 

Mantzoukas will play a love interest for Brie's character while Braun will play a love interest for Johnson's character

Christian Ditter is directing from a script by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein with a later draft byDana Fox. Fox is also producing with Drew Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen and John Rickard. The ensemble comedy begins shooting on Monday, April 20, in New York.



Mantzoukas is an actor and comedian who plays Rafi in the FX comedy series The League. The busy comedy actor's recent films include Ride Along, Neighbors, Adult Beginners (opening April 24) and Sleeping With Other People, which premiered at Sundance. And he recently filmed Dirty Grandpa with Zac Efron and Robert De Niro. He's repped by UTA, Mosaic and Morris Yorn.

Braun has a slew of films primed for release including Universal’s Jem and the Holograms, Fox’sPoltergeist with Sam Rockwell, Sony’s Kitchen Sink, Paramount’s comedy Fun House with Tina Feyand The Stanford Prison Experiment, which debuted at Sundance. His previous work includes The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Watch. He's repped by UTA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Jackoway Tyerman.
