New Pictures of Dakota at a table read at the Ghetto Film School in Los Angeles last night [May 9th, 2017]
From People: Ansel Elgort and Dakota Johnson put their star power to good use on Tuesday in Los Angeles when they participated in a table read for aspiring filmmakers at the Ghetto Film School.
The Ghetto Film School is a non-profit founded in 2000 by former social worker Joe Hall. Dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of storytellers, the school has locations in the South Bronx in New York City, and L.A..
During the table read (hosted by Amazon’s Jason Ropell, David O. Russell and Brett Ratner), Elgort, 23, and Johnson, 27, brought to life two scripts that won a competition voted on by students.

After the table read, Elgort and Johnson spoke of the importance of programs like the Ghetto Film School that encourage young talents to pursue their filmmaking dreams.
[...]
Johnson agreed. “This is the kind of organization, and the kind of environment, that I want to support and see flourish,” she said. “So I was like thrilled to be involved, truly.”
“These kids are really talented, and it makes me feel like I don’t know what I’m doing,” she joked. “And also that there is hope for the future of film because these kids are smart, and they should definitely be given an opportunity. I wish that more people had the opportunity.”

Kate Young on What It Takes to Get Met Gala Ready for "Vogue"
Celebrity stylist and Vogue.com contributor Kate Young has a client list that reads like a who’s who of stylish Hollywood women. With Selena Gomez, Dakota Johnson, and Hailey Benton Gates on her roster, she certainly had her hands full this past Monday at the Met Gala. Here Young she shares her personal photo diary of the night.
[...]
"At this point, I ran across the street to the Carlyle Hotel to see my best friend Victor [Glemaud] because he works with H&M on their Met [looks]. We had a salad, a little chat, and then I headed down to Dakota. We had coffee from La Colombe on her huge terrace and made our plan for the night."
"I love jewelry and am obsessed with archive pieces. At Cartier, I saw Edward [Barsamian] because I was dead late, which made the whole thing more fun. I chose jewelry for Dakota, Hailey [Benton Gates], and myself and got to see Elton John’s crazy diamond brooch, Liz Taylor’s cuff, and something from the Duchess of Windsor’s estate. It really doesn’t get any better. And at the Carlyle Hotel, it’s basically heaven."
"Three weeks before the gala, I flew out to Los Angeles for the day and fit toiles. Alessandro [Michele] was in Los Angeles to shoot his ad campaign, so Dakota and I went to his room, talked to him, and tried on dresses. It felt weird, goth, and Comme des Garçons, but also sexy, dramatic, and Met-appropriate. It was the best kind of fitting. We tried it on again on Sunday before the Met to check the alterations, to confirm the jewelry, and to show Alessandro."
