Tell us about the costumes in the film...
Costume designer Shay Cunliffe: The whole premise behind Ana [character Anastasia Steele] is that she's chic without trying. She just throws her clothes on and it works. I sat down with Dakota [Johnson, who plays Ana] and she'd made me a Pinterest board. She was very involved. And Jamie [Dornan, who plays Christian Grey] is lovely and easy to work with. Who wouldn't want to be with him in a trailer while he's wearing just his underpants?
What was the inspiration for Dakota's make-up¡
Head of make-up Rosalina Da Silva: She has a strong look. It's all about the lips and the eyebrows. Ana has flawless skin, too. But we had to consider that Ana doesn't have make-up artist in the film - she's the girl next door, so it [her look] ha to be achievable.
Sorry but I'm a big fan I love the books but I cant lie about this one. Personal opinion: 50 shades darker is the first movie that I end up paying $20 to go see & the biggest disappointment ever. Waiting years and it looked like the director didn't even bother to read the books, went short on money and they forgot to hire a writer to finish the script. Plus the actress needs some acting classes or stop acting all together because my God she was like a birth control pill.
ReplyDeleteI personally think that the first one was a much better produced and the chemistry between the character was more realistic. To me in this second movie it was a lack of chemistry and the movie as a hole was not the best for such a high profile movie.
